Samway Electronic SRL was founded in 2005 in Bucharest, Romania, with the aim of becoming one of the main suppliers of IPMI based management solutions, developed for open standard computing architectures like ATCA, MTCA, VPX and CPCI. In 18 years of activity, Samway has developed many IPMI based products including: Shelf Manager for ATCA and CPCI, VPX Chassis Manager, MicroTCA Carrier Hub (MCH), MicroTCA Power Distribution Module and software for MMCs and IPMCs.
Beside standard products, Samway offers hardware design services. During 18 years of activity we developed many products based on custom specifications using microcontrollers, FPGAs, PCIe and GbE switches, optical links. With every design we gained more know-how that we will use for your next project.
Samway was deeply involved in development of PICMG and VITA IPMI related specifications. All the products that use related hardware standards have been thoroughly tested at the Interoperability Workshops, in order to prove compatibility with the standards and products of other vendors.
